This project investigates the evolution of birds, focusing on how morphological changes influenced their diversity. It aims to understand the factors driving avian diversification, including the impact of flight and environmental changes on species development.
This project aims to substantially increase our knowledge of the interplay between morphological evolution and organismal diversity.
The radiation of birds will be used as the model system for reaching this goal.
