This research focuses on enhancing molecular simulation algorithms, particularly within the GROMACS software. The goal is to significantly improve simulation capabilities for studying chemical and biological systems, which could lead to advancements in drug design and material science.
The long-term goal of our research is to advance the state-of-the-art in molecular simulation algorithms by 4-5 orders of magnitude, particularly in the context of the GROMACS software we are developing.
