ERIN is a research project that analyzes the cultural impact of Irish poet Thomas Moore's works on national identity in 19th-century Europe. It aims to create a comprehensive database and various public engagement outputs to enhance understanding of Moore's influence.
ERIN offers a network analysis, investigating the cultural articulation of national identity in 19th-century Europe as found in the musical works of Irish poet-songwriter Thomas Moore.
He created two European song series, the Irish Melodies and National Airs, of global circulation; these inspired arrangements by European composers.
