This project focuses on improving the early detection of liver cancers in Latin America by validating serum biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and gallbladder cancer. It aims to enhance screening methods and address risk factors to reduce cancer-related mortality in the region.
Hepatobiliary malignancies represent a major cause of mortality globally and are uniquely aggressive in Latin America.
