This project focuses on the stability of plasma in astrophysical objects and nuclear fusion devices. It aims to model the equilibrium properties of plasma and investigate macroscopic instabilities, particularly considering the effects of plasma rotation and kinetic behaviors in magnetic confinement.
The purpose of the project is to study the stability of plasma in astrophysical objects and in nuclear fusion relevant condition in magnetic confinement devices.
The first part of the project will involve the modeling of equilibrium properties of the objects under consideration, a necessary step for the stability study.
