ESiWACE2 aims to enhance weather and climate modeling capabilities by improving the performance of existing models on advanced computing systems. It focuses on developing new technologies and optimizing data management to prepare for future exascale computing.
The path towards exascale computing holds enormous challenges for the community of weather and climate modelling regarding portability, scalability and data management that can hardly be faced by individual institutes.
