ESTRELIA aims to enhance the reliability and safety of full electric vehicles by developing advanced energy storage solutions. It focuses on modular ultracapacitor power packs and innovative battery management systems to reduce costs and improve performance.
High costs together with concerns for driving range, reliability and safety are still the main hindrance for market adaption of full electrical vehicles (FEVs).
