This project focuses on enhancing radiative cooling technology to reduce energy consumption in buildings. By coupling a Fabry-Perot optical cavity with conducting polymer antennas, the goal is to achieve efficient thermal emission control, adapting to varying outdoor temperatures.
Radiative cooling provides a sustainable solution for reducing the growing global energy consumption, particularly in cooling buildings which today alone constitutes around 10% of the global electricity consumption.
