The eTAG project develops a novel electricity-generating thermoacoustic engine that integrates into residential boilers, creating a micro Combined Heat and Power system. This system aims to produce efficient electricity and heating using alternative fuels, achieving over 90% energy efficiency.
The eTAG (embedded ThermoAcoustic Generator) includes a novel electricity- generating thermoacoustic engine, embedded inside an existing residential boiler, to form a renewable and economic micro Combined Heat and Power (mCHP) system, without any hot moving parts.
