ETHOS aims to develop a theory of justice in Europe by exploring its historical and contemporary foundations. The project investigates the mechanisms that hinder justice and provides guidance for policymakers to address inequalities in various domains.
ETHOS seeks to provide building blocks for the development of the an empirically informed European theory of justice by (a) refining and deepening the knowledge on the European foundations of justice - both historically based and
