The project aims to create a collaborative network of researchers focused on advancing artificial cognitive systems, enhancing their autonomy and adaptability. It emphasizes outreach, education, and resource sharing to foster innovation in robotics and other intelligent systems inspired by nature.
The 3rd European Network for the Advancement of Artificial Cognitive Systems, Interaction and Robotics (EUCogIII) will organise a network of many hundreds of researchers and continue building the cognitive systems community in Europe, which straddles the divides of traditional academic disciplines in its work towards artificial intelligent systems that are autonomous, robust, flexible and self-improving in pursuing their goals.
