The European Union Contest for Young Scientists promotes collaboration among young scientists by showcasing their achievements. It provides a platform for students to compete, network, and gain mentorship from established scientists, fostering interest in scientific careers.
The European Union Contest for Young Scientists, an initiative of the European Commission, was set up in 1989 to promote the ideals of cooperation and interchange between young scientists.
The Contest is the annual showcase of the best of European student scientific achievement and as such attracts widespread media interest.
The 22nd. EU Contest of Young Scientists will take place 24-29 September 2010, in Lisbon, Portugal, at the Electricity Museum.
