This project investigates the foundational principles of constitutional law across European Union Member States. By conducting comparative legal research, it aims to identify common constitutional principles and variations, enhancing the understanding of how national laws interact within the EU framework.
Irrespective of whether the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe or a Reform Treaty enters into force, the EU already has a constitution by all but name.
