The EuroDRG Project analyzes hospital cost variations in Europe by studying patient treatment costs linked to various medical factors. It aims to enhance efficiency comparisons among hospitals and assess the impact of care quality on costs, ultimately improving healthcare payment systems.
Payment systems are fundamental to any health care system, introducing powerful incentives and fierce technical design complexities.
