This project investigates Disorders of Sex Development (DSD) to identify biochemical and genetic profiles associated with these conditions. By analyzing cases systematically, the project aims to improve diagnosis and treatment options for individuals with DSD, enhancing understanding of their pathophysiology.
Disorders of Sex Development (DSD) constitute a group of rare to very rare mostly heritable disorders affecting the genito-urinary tract and in most instances also the endocrine-reproductive system.
