The EUROPAH project investigates the role of large Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in the universe, focusing on their chemical processes and interactions in space. It aims to train researchers through a multidisciplinary approach that connects various scientific fields to address industrial research needs.
Large Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) molecules are deeply interwoven in the fabric of the Universe and lock up ~15% of the elemental carbon in the interstellar medium (ISM) of galaxies.
