ENETRAP III focuses on enhancing education and training in radiation protection across various sectors, including medical and waste management. The project aims to develop specialized training modules and a web-based platform to improve knowledge transfer and support lifelong learning in radiation protection careers.
For a vast amount of applications in the medical, industrial, research and other sectors, a good understanding of radiation protection (RP) is fundamental in order to protect workers, the public and the environment from the potential risks of ionising radiation.
Within this perspective, building and maintaining an advanced level of competence in RP, assuring sufficient well-trained personnel and organising an adequate knowledge management, is crucial.
