This project aims to develop superconducting magnetic RAM technology to enhance computing power beyond current silicon limits. It focuses on creating new architectures for memory that operate at cryogenic temperatures, essential for superconducting computers.
The ongoing demand for computing-power and data-storage is quickly approaching the physical limits of conventional silicon-based electronics.
To overcome this limit different approaches beyond conventional complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) technology are nowadays under investigation.
