This project aims to identify host factors essential for the life cycle of human enteroviruses through a genome-wide CRISPR screen in intestinal cells. By understanding the interactions between host and virus, the research seeks to discover new drug targets for treating enterovirus infections.

Enteroviruses (HEV) are an assemblage of highly diverse positive-stranded RNA viruses that belong to the Picornaviridae family.
