This project investigates the molecular mechanisms of cooperative behavior in social insects, specifically the paper wasp and fire ant. By analyzing genomic data and ecological factors, it aims to understand how cooperation influences social structures and invasiveness in these species.
Cooperation is a fascinating process that is widespread in nature and which can be used to infer knowledge about basic mechanisms regulating complex behaviours.
