This project explores the evolutionary dynamics of pathogens and their hosts to improve our understanding of infectious diseases. By combining theoretical models with experimental studies, it aims to uncover the interactions between parasites and their hosts, enhancing public health strategies.
Our ability to control infectious diseases relies on a better understanding of epidemiological and evolutionary dynamics of pathogens. I will develop a research program combining theoretical and experimental approaches.
