The EXCHANGE project aims to deepen the understanding of magnetism at the nanoscale and femtosecond timescale using advanced X-ray and THz techniques. It seeks to visualize the dynamics of magnetic interactions, potentially impacting future data storage technologies.
The aim of EXCHANGE is to achieve a breakthrough in the understanding of magnetism and magnetic phase transitions on the time and length scale of the exchange interaction, the strongest force in magnetism.
