This project investigates the biology of extraembryonic endoderm stem cells to understand their maintenance and differentiation mechanisms. By exploring the roles of receptor tyrosine kinases and Wnt signaling, the research aims to enhance stem cell manipulation for applications in regenerative medicine.
The goals of regenerative medicine require a deep understanding of cell lineage and differentiation, developmental potential and fate.
