This project aims to enhance ultra high field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) by applying quantum information processing techniques for better control of radiofrequency waves. By improving pulse design and safety measures, it seeks to advance brain imaging capabilities at 7 Tesla and 11.7 Tesla MRI scanners.
Full exploitation of ultra high field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) requires innovative methods to control the homogeneity and the safety of the high frequency radiofrequency (RF) waves used to acquire images.
