The EXTINCT project aims to understand the factors driving butterfly population declines and species extinctions by analyzing data collected over 18 years across three countries. It focuses on how species traits interact with environmental conditions to inform conservation strategies and preserve biodiversity.
Climate and habitat change are accelerating the loss of biodiversity at unprecedented rates.
