The FASDEM project investigates the processes of democratization by analyzing successful and failing sequences using a comprehensive dataset. It aims to identify causal relationships that influence these trajectories, providing insights for policy-making in political science and related fields.
The study of democratization lies at the center of political science and is increasingly important in economics, sociology, and history, and has become a central foreign policy objective.
