The FASS project develops an innovative solubility measurement technique that combines speed and accuracy while significantly reducing costs, chemical use, and energy consumption. It aims to enhance drug discovery and chemical synthesis processes through a non-destructive optical method.
Solubility measurement is a standard test that is required for every chemical that is produced or tested.
However, measuring solubility is a time/labour-intensive process that requires substantial quantities of chemicals.
