This project develops FibroSelect, an innovative bioprocessing platform that enhances the purification of biotherapeutics. It aims to reduce costs and improve flexibility in manufacturing complex proteins by utilizing a disposable chromatography medium, thus addressing industry challenges in biotherapeutic production.
Seven of the top 10 global medicines by spending are biotherapeutics drugs, and the market is growing at a CAGR of 10.1% to reach a value of $287 billion in 2020.
