The FEAR-SAP project investigates how plants compete for resources in agricultural settings, focusing on the genetic mechanisms behind plant-released toxins and weed resistance. By studying these interactions, the project aims to develop more competitive crops and improve weed control strategies.
In natural and agricultural habitats, plants grow in organismal communities and therefore have to compete for limited resources.
