FEINART is a collaborative project that investigates the role of socially engaged art in Europe. It trains early-stage researchers to understand and address the challenges in the contemporary art landscape, focusing on the impact of art on democracy and public culture.
FEINART is an extensive collaboration between degree-awarding research-centres in political philosophy, art theory/practiceand curatorial studies/cultural management, and the independent European art sector, as the basis for the firstinterdisciplinary and holistic investigation of the democratic role and function of socially engaged art in Europe.
