This research explores the contributions of women photographers in resistance movements, particularly during the Dutch resistance and anti-apartheid efforts. It aims to highlight their roles and address gender inequality in historical narratives.
This study focuses on the work of women photographers who participated in resistance movements and whose images were made to expose and resist repressive regimes.
