The FEMMES project investigates the relationship between charge and spin tunneling and ferroelectricity in Ferroelectric Tunnel Junctions. It aims to develop low-power spintronic devices and memristors for neuromorphic circuits by exploring the properties of ferroelectric materials and their interfaces.
The aim of the project FEMMES is to study the interplay between charge/spin tunneling and ferroelectricity in Ferroelectric Tunnel Junctions (FTJs) composed of two electrodes separated by a ferroelectric tunnel barrier.
