The FIBRE project aims to create a collaborative research facility between Brazil and Europe for testing and validating new Internet architectures. It will enhance existing experimental networks and develop a unified platform for researchers to conduct joint experiments, addressing current Internet limitations.
In the last two decades networks, and especially the Internet, have become part of the critical infrastructure of governments, businesses, homes and schools.
