This project examines the impact of environmental regulations on greenhouse gas emissions and firm productivity in Germany and France. It aims to develop indicators of regulatory stringency and analyze how these regulations affect trade and innovation within different industries.
The proposed project addresses the growing importance of stringent environmental regulations as tools to mitigate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improve environmental performance.
