The project develops advanced semiconductor technology for terahertz electronics aimed at space instruments. It seeks to create efficient, compact receivers that operate without cooling, enhancing climate monitoring capabilities.
The project will establish frontline semiconductor terahertz electronics for far-infrared space instruments by exploring and combining InP-based semiconductors with thin silicon membrane technology.
