FIREALARM investigates the origins of inflammation by exploring how intercellular signaling proteins influence pyroptosis and chronic inflammatory states. The project employs advanced techniques to analyze molecular interactions and aims to develop strategies for reversing chronic conditions related to inflammation.
Inflammation is a natural mechanism to restore tissue homeostasis, and its deregulation causes human disease.
