The FIRSTDUST project aims to explore distant, dust-obscured galaxies and proto-clusters in the early universe using advanced multi-wavelength astronomy. By analyzing extensive data from far-infrared to radio wavelengths, it seeks to characterize star formation rates and identify new targets for future telescopes.
We are at a tipping point where unveiling the nature of distant dust-obscured galaxies and the formation of the first proto-clusters in our Universe is finally possible thanks to recent advances in multi-wavelength astronomy.
