This project seeks to connect concepts from quantum field theory and fluid dynamics to tackle the Navier-Stokes turbulence problem. It aims to explore new black hole solutions and enhance understanding of fluid dynamics and gravity through advanced mathematical models.
Using and combining the experiences and tools from quantum field theory, gravity and fluid dynamics, the goal of this proposal is to address the challenging task of mapping the Navier-Stokes turbulence problem to a general relativity problem.
For this we will study fluctuations of certain d-dimensional geometries at a cutoff surface beyond the linear order, and study the map to the nonlinear fluid dynamics.
