This project focuses on developing advanced sensing technologies for detecting industrial pollutants using functionalized macromolecular complexes. It aims to enhance the sensitivity and selectivity of sensors through innovative fabrication methods, benefiting environmental monitoring and public health.
The ultimate target of the project is to create and transfer knowledge on the development of novel functionalisedmacromolecular complexes for rapid sensing of hazardous industrial polluters.
Recent developments of macromolecular complexes and opto-electronic techniques of their study have enabled advancesin the formation of molecular probes able to recognize molecules and metal ions.
These advances are currently beingconsidered for application in a new generation of sensor technology, and opto-e…
