This project aims to improve forest management through the development of decision support models and tools. By fostering collaboration between European and American organizations, it seeks to enhance the assessment of forest management impacts in the context of climate change and socio-economic factors.
The supply of forest services and products is largely determined by forest management.
Decision makers thus need models and tools that may help assess the short and long term impacts of management options on the forest resource base.
