This project examines the concept of forgiveness within the context of the Basque conflict and its impact on the peace process. It aims to develop a theoretical framework and conduct a historical analysis to understand how forgiveness has influenced social and political dynamics.
From the second half of the twentieth century, forgiveness has come to occupy an important place in political transition processes, both in the passage from dictatorship to democracy and at the end of violent internal political conflicts.
