This project focuses on creating flame retardant textiles that are both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. The goal is to enhance the market share of these safer textiles, promoting higher safety standards against fire hazards.
The aim of the research is to develop and produce flame retardant textile, with economical and environmental advantages.
Once project will be completed, it will be possible to increase the flame retardant textile market quota to the detriment of untreated textiles.
This could support the introduction of new standards and rules to grant a higher security level against fires.
