FULFIL investigates how Christian interpretations of the Hebrew Bible shaped Jewish identity in medieval Europe. The project analyzes historical texts and images to understand the social effects of these religious perceptions on minority identities.
Considering the cultural construction of minority identities in medieval Europe, FULFIL interrogates the impact of the Christian perceptions, conceptions and uses of the Hebrew Bible on the religious identification of Jews as a distinctive group.
