FUNAMBULIST seeks to revolutionize fine chemical production by mimicking biological processes in engineered environments. This project aims to create a modular toolkit for designing chemical reactions, moving away from traditional synthetic methods.
Almost half of the production costs in the rapidly growing chiral chemicals market is spent on the downstream processing costs due to challenging separation tasks and demanding levels of purification.
