This project investigates the impact of amyloid-beta accumulation on synaptic function in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease. It employs advanced imaging techniques to assess how soluble and insoluble forms of amyloid-beta affect neuronal activity and network organization in the cortex.
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common neurodegenerative disease, affecting millions of people worldwide and therefore it is fundamental to understand its underlying mechanisms.
