The GAIN project develops the Enhanced Active Green Driving system to optimize fuel consumption and reduce CO2 emissions in real-time. It enhances an existing prototype by integrating advanced positioning algorithms and vehicle communication technologies.
The aim of the GAIN project is to develop and commercialize the Enhanced Active Green Driving (EAGD) system for real time optimization and reduction of CO2 emission and fuel consumption.
The proposed solution is based on an already existing prototype called Active Green Driving (AGD) which needs to be extended an optimized.
The current prototype im-plemented is limited by only using a simple GPS system and static route information from standard navigation maps.
