The gammaCam project is developing a highly sensitive camera capable of detecting individual photons using a specialized CMOS sensor. This technology aims to explore various applications and demonstrate the sensor's capabilities in real-world scenarios.
The gammaCam project aims at developing a novel type of camera detecting light at the level of individual photons.
It is based on a state of the art CMOS sensor developed in the frame of the SUPERTWIN project.
