This project is developing a compact and intuitive surgical robot to enhance orthopedic procedures. By integrating computer vision technology, it aims to assist surgeons in performing more precise joint replacements, ultimately improving patient outcomes and optimizing surgical processes.
Driven by a growing and aging population, demand for orthopaedic surgery is rapidly increasing.
Orthopaedic surgical techniques, however, have not changed in decades and 95% of procedures are performed without technological assistance.
