This project addresses the limitations of traditional cryptography by developing methods to enhance security against side-channel attacks. It focuses on creating better models and designs for cryptographic systems that account for physical vulnerabilities.
Traditionally, cryptography views cryptographic schemes as black-boxes.
An adversary may have access to its inputs and outputs, but the internal computation within the box stays secret.
