The GATHERINGS project seeks to enhance the effectiveness and fairness of surveillance at public events. It aims to develop standards and tools that balance security needs with privacy concerns, fostering better practices among stakeholders.
Local surveillance assemblages can be broken down into three constitutive and interrelated parts: technologies used, stakeholders involved and the data transfer between them.
